Looking for an event that helps you slow down, get creative, and connect with good people? Sip and Sculpt is coming to Just Love Coffee, bringing a relaxed pottery workshop experience to the café on 7/12 from 2pm-4pm.
This guided clay workshop is designed for beginners, first-timers, friend groups, date nights, and anyone who wants to unplug for a while and make something by hand. No experience is needed. You’ll be guided through the basics by an experienced host in a laid-back setting where the focus is on enjoying the process, not getting everything perfect.
Your ticket includes all the clay, tools, and materials you’ll need, along with hands-on instruction throughout the workshop. You’ll learn foundational hand-building techniques such as pinch pots and coils, then use those skills to create functional pottery pieces like mugs, bowls, vases, or planters. You’ll also get tips on adding handles, texture, and other personal touches to make your piece feel truly your own.
The evening also includes a $10 credit to use toward food and drinks at Just Love Coffee, so you can sip, snack, and settle into the experience while you create.

There’s a feel-good purpose behind the event too. $1 from every ticket is donated to mental health initiatives, helping support nonprofit work that makes a difference in the community.
After the workshop, your pottery can be air-dried at home. After a few days, it will be ready to paint. Please note that glazing and firing are not included in this workshop, and they are required if you want your pottery to be waterproof and food-safe. You can use a local kiln or ceramic studio to glaze and fire your finished piece.
